Backflow Testing
Most cities, including Vancouver, Richmond, Surrey, Coquitlam, New Westminster, Langley, Burnaby and Abbotsford, require annual backflow testing for all businesses in their jurisdiction, to ensure the safety of local drinking water. Failure to keep up a regular testing schedule can result in a fine or even having your water shut off by the city until they receive the necessary compliance -- an expensive, inconvenient and embarrassing proposition for any business, large or small.
Across Town Plumbing and Heating has qualified, cross connection control certified, technicians (a standard that requires recertification every five years) on staff to test your commercial or residential backflow prevention system and give you the stamp of approval when your system makes the grade.
Our own backflow testing machines are tested annually as well. We also keep your records on file so that we can conveniently remind you when it’s time to book your annual test.
